A Positively Poetic Priest

So... today... I realized I can't count.  I wrote this challenge for 121 days, from the beginning of September to the end of December. However, tomorrow is the end of December... and will be Day 122.  Either way, I have come to the end of my Wool Challenge and I can definitely say I have loved it. There are a few items of clothing I am looking forward to using again, but all in all, I love the dresses and will wear them out! 

We went for a two hour walk in the cool moist air. It was nice. I had my black Cora on, with leggings and a sweater. 

It's been a slow day in mostly pajama type clothing. We watched a movie this morning. I do love this thicker Smartwool black long sleeved shirt. Warm and comfortable! 

You'll see peeking out of my coat my pink Smartwool shirt and under that I had on my black Cora dress. We visited my aunt and uncle today. 

Boxing Day! Roll out of bed late and don't care! 

I wore my red Willow dress for Christmas morning church! I matched the poinsettias. 

Christmas Eve! This is my special Christmas dress, I've worn it the last few years on Christmas... And it is a wool blend! Not fully wool, but I'll take it. Getting ready for the services this evening. 

I'm in my red Willow dress today and the Altar Guild directress gave me some of the extra Christmas flowers for my desk. 

It's Christmas week! So naturally I'm planning Epiphany event stuff at work today. 

Staff holiday party. I have my black Wool& dress under my polar bear sweater. 

A Monday cuddling and recovering from the weekend! We did go for a long (almost three hour) walk in the afternoon. 

My black Wool& dress appeared again today with my new sweater for church. It was a full morning, and my parents came too! 

Early morning picture of my new Wool& sweater!! I bought this with my coupon for having completed the 100 day Wool& challenge. I thought grey would compliment the three dresses I have already, plum, red, and black. I have a feeling I will be wearing this sweater a lot! 

Today I wore the Smartwool dress my husband bought me for Christmas last year with a black Smartwool shirt and black Wool& leggings. It's a lovely dress for the summer and not bad as a winter layer. 

This Wool& dress is plum colored! For some reason with the light it looks almost brown in the picture. 

I love my red Wool& dress, it pairs so nicely with all my black accessories. 

I was wearing wool under my Santa sweater for the staff Christmas picture.

I am wearing the plum colored Wool& today. It went with the Advent theme. It was also in good stead for walking around the light festival around town.   

My red Wool& dress and my black wool sweater did me well today during a funeral and a very long wait. 

Oh my! I'm wearing a different dress today! It's plum colored! It's the Willow 3/4 sleeve dress and still wool.  Also Nicodemus is visiting the office today.

Today is the 100th day of wearing this black Wool& Cora Shift dress in a row for eight hours a day. My husband called it the 'tyranny of the black dress', though I greatly enjoyed it. As my 121 day wool challenge continues, I'll be wearing one of my other Wool& dresses tomorrow, but the black dress is not out of the rotation! Far from it. I love this dress. This has hands down been one of the best purchases I have ever made. Thank you Wool&! 

The penultimate day! I've been trying to think of a fancy way to dress for tomorrow, but I haven't come up with anything yet. It has been an interesting challenge. 

The black Wool& dress is classy enough to wear when going out and comfy enough to wear when you're feeling the vaccine side effects and need to nap on the couch. Thank goodness for versatile clothing! 

Today I wore my Wool& dress to get my COVID booster shot. For my own health and for the health of the community.  I only have a couple more days until the end of 'the tyranny of the black dress' as my husband called it the other day. My Wool& 100 Day Challenge will be complete, but my personal 121 Day Wool Challenge will still continue until the end of December. I have been amazed by a couple of things in this process.  Neither my black leggings or my black dress, both worn practically continuously for the last 97 days have any holes in them. A miracle given my thighs, my klutz status, and my cat. Most of the wool sweaters I have been wearing have holes at this point. The Wool& fabric is amazing. (My Smartwool leggings got holes in them after a month.) Neither my black leggings or my black dress have faded in color. Still as solidly black as they have been from the first. With this much wear, I have been surprised they haven't changed color at all. 

Eight hours of church services and meetings. This dress is always comfortable.
