Monday - Pray

The window disappeared from view
It was just the yellow green leaves
The weathering fence and the red brick
The leaves fluttering in the breeze
Changing color as the shadows
Came alive in non-geometric shapes
Rapping against the buckled wood
Change doesn't stop after death
Green or gold the sunlight could be either
Splashed in bounteous array
With a start
I realized I was praying.
